Monday 3.2 - Captain Steve Giles reports that the 3.2 championship game had Manja Mason and Steve Anderson against Craig Hoff and Randy Johnson.  It was a very competitive match, but Manja and Steve won 15 to 12. 

Tuesday 3.7 and up - Captain Barry Lumley reports that the four final competitors were Tony Pitkiewicz and Doug Gesswein vs. Mike L., and  Steve Joannes.  The score was 8-5 in favor of Mike and Steve when they switched sides.  Both teams made great plays.  With the score 9-6, side out, the team of Mike and Steve went on a scoring tear.  The first server, (no I will not mention the name, you can ask them) served out the game with a final score of 15-6.  Congratulations to Mike and Steve on their victory and congratulations to all four competitors! 

 

Tuesday 2.5 - Captain Norm Howard reports that his group held a championship match last week and all players enjoyed it. The winners were Skip Young and Julian Hicks, who were victorious over Donna Stearns and Greg Lee 11 to 9, a close match that we all enjoyed watching.

Tuesday 3.6 - Captains Mary Paez and PJ Janik report that father & son team of Drew and Mike Johnson beat Mary Paez & Ed Callonas 15-2.

Wednesday 2.7 - Captain Bill Friend reports that no Championship match was held.  Player consensus was that it was just too hot that day!

Thursday 3.5 - Captains Robyn and Carll Frye reported on their 3.5 RR group's September Championship:   Joe Reilly and newcomer to the group, Adam Feingold, faced off against Grant Irwin and Jim Ray.  The score was very close for the early part of the game but then Joe and Adam took advantage of the windy conditions and claimed a hard fought 15-8 victory.
