Youth Program

FREE TRAINING AND PLAY GROUP FOR YOUTH

Players younger than 18 may join the Youth Program to lean the basics of the game - paddle skills, stroke technique, rules, teamwork and safety. Classes will meet on Friday's from 4-5:30 PM starting April 19, 2024. See the Master Calendar for current scheduling.

Jim Robak and Carmen McMahan are the lead organizers of these sessions and will work with other volunteers to teach the children at Pioneer Park Pickleball Complex. Paddles will be available for the players. Groups will be created based on age and skill sets.

A parents meeting is scheduled Friday, April 12th, 4:00 PM at the pavilion at the courts to learn more about the program and get children signed up. A free Prescott Pickleball Youth Membership is available for participants. This will provide weekly newsletters, a player name badge and participation in other PPA events.
