The event was delayed two weeks because of cold and snow!.  Then, last Saturday, there was wind, sometimes gusting up to 15+ mph.  Fortunately, no players were blown away!  At least three pickleballs ended up outside the fence, one down in the gully, but all 3 were rescued and no harm resulted. Even the paperwork and raffle prizes were threatened by the wind. 

The wind certainly led to some weird shots, but didn't prevent lots of very enjoyable play.  After all games were complete, beverages and snacks were served and a raffle was held.  A big thank you to the planning committee:  Sandy & Gail (front row); Craig, Marcie, Ginger & Ann (back row):

Raffle prizes often included a St. Patrick's Day theme and all winners received a new PPA logo hand towel.
