Friday 3.0 - It is hard to believe how nice it has been this October!  There was a 4-way tie with Ed Kemp, Andria Gregory, Jayne Bishop and Dennis Rand all with a perfect 11-point average.  Jayne and Ed served to Andria and Dennis to start what was a great game.  There were some hard-fought points with great volleys and blocks.  The final score was 15 to 7 in favor of Jayne and Ed.  Congratulations!

Monday 3.0+ - It was a great day for a championship match. The top players are Sue Smith, John McAllister, Bill Friend and Keith Spruer.  It was a great game!  Smith/McAllister came out on top with a score of 15-12!    

Tuesday 3.5+ & up - The day started out cool and no wind.  At the end of of Round Robin play the Top 4 scorers were Mike L, Tony P,  Barry "Bear" H,   John S.  It was a close match through the first couple points. Mike and John built their lead to 9-5.  Tony and Bear staged a come back at 8-11. There were couple ten hit rallys at the NVZ. The experience level showed as there were all types of hits demonstrated with soft dinks, third shot drops, power shots, lobs and counter lobs. Mike and John kept a 4 to 5 point lead through out the contest.  There was one foot fault but otherwise a clean game. The final score was 15-10 with Mike and John crowned as the October Champions for the 3.5+ and up PPA playing group!  Dave Cannan officiated! 

Tuesday 2.5 - The final competitors for this month's pairing were Chris DeMember and Jamie Cofin vs. Darrell Rommel and Karen DeMember.  The score is not reflective of the competitiveness that was displayed during the course of the game. With this being stated, the final score was 15-2 for the winning team of Chris and Jamie.  Congratulations to them!  Congratulations again to all 4 finalists. 

Tuesday 3.5+ - Jared Ellsworth and PJ Janik took home a comfortable win over Dave Oeffling and Nate Howden in the Tues 3.5+ championship. 

Wednesday 2.5+ - Kerri Wallisch and Frank Araneo competed against Karen Colella and Dennis Rand. Kerri and Frank won the match with a final score of 15 to 13.     

Thursday 3.5 - Another beautiful day of Pickleball was had by our four championship participants!  The teams were comprised of Judi Mackey & Sam Sar vs. Dave Cottongim & Ed Sheldon. The action was fast paced and well played with great shots and skill on both sides. In the end the score was close but Judi & Sam edged out the win 15-10.
